Major WinSCADS changes for Version 2.2.0 (5/25/01 Release):

  • Added 'Analysis-Review' button on the main bar menu.  This option is used to activate the post-processing module of the currently-used analysis program.
  • 'SCADS' data folder can now be changed from the 'Open', 'New' and 'Save As' forms.
  • Latest PD-STRUDL/PD-GRAF Version 0301(with improved graphics for moment and shear diagrams) is included and supported.
  • System has been tested for compatibility with StaadPro 2001.
  • System has been tested for compatibility with Windows 2000.
  • Source files were recompiled using latest releases of Microsoft Visual Basic, Visual C++, and Compaq Visual Fortran.

Major WinSCADS changes for Version 2.0.2 (7/25/00 Release):

  • Support for LRFD design code.
  • PD-STRUDL "DOS" version is replaced by a newer "Windows" version.
  • Supported structural-analysis programs are:
    • PD-STRUDL (Windows version)
    • GT-STRDUL (Version 9901 or later)
    • STAADPRO/STAADIII
  • Implemented a new automated installation system.
  • Natural frequency analysis is supported.
  • Improved "Beam End Forces" report.
  • Graphics programs can be run under MicroStation J.
  • WinSCADS web site is  http://www.winscads.com
  • User's manuals are provided in PDF (Acrobat's) format [See \WinSCADS\Docs\PDF\ folder].
