GUI: UBL
for k-brace members in graphics dos not match values set by GEOM. |
Modified

Lux = L/2-1, Luy = L-2 (min 1 ft) for longer members; - Set Lux =
Luy = L-1 (min 1 ft) for shorter member. - If an "RBEM" is issued
for a k-brace member, swap the values of Lux and Luy (the swap will
take place if the rotation angle is between 45 and 135 only --
Earlier version of GEOM did the swap without checking the rotation
angle). |

GUI:
Modify categorization of MISC members to match original GEOM
version. |
The
following rules have been implemented in graphics to match GEOM
implemented definitions: If vertical difference between the two ends
of MISC is less than 2 ft, it is horizontal member (X-BEAM, Y-BEAM
or Horizontal Brace); Otherwise: - If the two supporting ends are
beams on the same floor, it is horizontal (X-BEAM, Y-BEAM or
Horizontal Brace) - If one end is a beam and the other is a column
with a distance less than .001, and beam and column pieces on same
floor, it is horizontal (X-BEAM, Y-BEAM or Horizontal Brace) - If
both ends are supported by columns and distances are less than .001,
it is horizontal (X-BEAM, Y-BEAM or Horizontal Brace); - Otherwise
it is a vertical brace. IMPORTANT: X and Y BEAMS created by MISC
command can support other beams created by BEAM command and is
assigned properties (area commands) as if they are x or y beams).
However, these MISC members are not recognized by the load command
(i.e., no loads are assigned to them from the LOAD command and also,
the LOAD command can create beams that may coincide with these MISC
members. |
